Madid Arabic Typeface خط مديد

Madid is an experimental typeface based on the Kufic calligraphic style. Each letter is drawn as a basic outline that is isometrically extruded using a 3D software. The depth of extrusion creates the different font weights and gives the slanted brush effect of the calligraphic Qalam. The project is still in progress, the typeface will hopefully be released in the beginning of 2016 with different weights and a Latin version designed by Adrien Midzic.
